Resident Rotators Residents from other accredited training programs are eligible to visit for a maximum of (90) ninety days. Their home institution must provide an Affiliation Agreement stating their continued coverage of salary, benefits, and malpractice insurance. The rotator must arrange travel and housing independently.

International Medical Graduates (IMG) international medical doctors Need a letter of invitation from a faculty member (email is acceptable) and will be processed via the UCLA Volunteer Office. Please direct IMG inquiries to Karen Volpicelli, Neurosurgery Department Office KVolpicelli@mednet.ucla.edu. Observers must complete UCLA HIPAA, Patient Confidentiality, Hepatitis Questionnaire, proof of TB test, and two forms of identification. There is an additional list of requirements for international visitors regarding visa requirements, et al. (Volunteer Office requires $150 processing fee for international visitors).

Conference Attendance Neurosurgery departmental visitors are welcome to attend Case Presentations, Neurosurgery 101 Lectures, Board Preparation Sessions, Journal Club, and Grand Round lectures.
Medical School Classroom Attendance The only persons allowed to attend lectures or laboratory sessions are properly registered medical students with the rare exception of individuals who have received written permission from the instructor to audit a course. (School of Medicine)
